Masakazu ‘Masa’ Fukunaga is the Executive Vice President of Strategy, leading the strategic initiatives of The Delta Companies.

He began his career at Mitsui & Co. LTD, a Japanese conglomerate, where he was engaged in various investment projects and business development initiatives in healthcare staffing and education sectors. Before joining The Delta Companies, Masa took a leadership role of Planning and Strategy for Accountable Healthcare Staffing, one of the leading healthcare staffing and workforce solution companies.

Masa received a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Human Health Science degree from Kyoto University in Japan. Throughout his education and career experience, he has developed a strong passion for healthcare and the staffing industry to contribute to society.

He moved to Dallas from Japan in 2019 and lives with his wife and two sons. He is enjoying Texas life with his family and in his spare time, he loves running, swimming, and playing tennis.
